I was all set to get a review of Unfair: The New Science of Criminal Injustice by Adam Benforado written and posted today, and wham—hello, severe sore throat, hacking cough and endless napping, nice to meet you. There's a slim-to-moderate chance this could be mono (sharing drinks will get you every time), so send all the non-Epstein-Barr vibes you can! I'll hopefully find out for sure tomorrow morning.
Anyway, since I'm bedridden, I'm going with an easy (and fun!) post today. Shannon over at River City Reading has decided to chronicle her monthly library adventures in Library Checkout, a feature where she shares what she's checked out as well as what holds she's eagerly anticipating. A serious library addict myself, I knew I needed to toss my October library book hat in the link-up ring.
